Youth Shine on the Rock Wall: Gold Axis Supports the 2025 Zhejiang Youth Climbing Championship

Recently, the 2025 Zhejiang Youth Climbing Championship officially kicked off at the Climbing Gym of Jingyuan Middle School in Qiantang District, Hangzhou. As the highest-level youth climbing event in Zhejiang Province, the competition has attracted 13 teams from 11 prefecture-level cities including Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou, with nearly 300 young athletes gathering in Qiantang to compete in speed and skill on the vertical rock walls. They interpreted the climbing spirit of “facing difficulties head-on and never giving up” with their upward moves.

Hosted by relevant sports departments of Zhejiang Province and undertaken by units including the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Qiantang District, this event aims to build a professional competitive platform for young climbing enthusiasts and promote the popularization and development of climbing among teenagers. The competition is divided into multiple events such as speed climbing, lead climbing and bouldering, grouped by age and gender. Young climbers strived to climb on different routes, gripping the holds tightly with their fingertips and moving their bodies flexibly. Every upward breakthrough won bursts of applause from the audience, fully demonstrating the vitality and resilience of the new generation of youth.
